An old DT-1, a little Baja research, and some Yankee ingenuity produce an exceptional all purpose machine...My basic aim in this project was to retain the original value of the DT-1 as a street-legal, off-road motorcycle that would also be suitable for serious cross-country competition...the machine used was a 1967 Yamaha DT-1 owned by Mike Harper (of Victor Products fame)..
