his black-and-yellow Yamaha and his
black-and-yellow helmet.
The Yamaha came that way from
the factory’s racing department.
The helmet came painted just like
any other Bell Star® Helmet. White!
In fact, Kenny Roberts’ helmet is
just like any other Bell Star.
At Bell, we believe a trick paint job
is something the buyer can best take
care of himself.
Bell Helmets begin with high qual-
ity materials, and skilled production
people. Each helmet goes through 25
key inspection processes. We meet
every helmet standard worthy of the
name.
When the important work is done,
the helmet gets a coat of epoxy paint,
silver, white or orange for the Super
Magnum®, orange or white for the
Star. Red, white, blue or orange for
the Bell R-T®.
The helmet shell is hand laminated
fiberglass. Paint, lacquer or fuel won’t
hurt it. So you can design your color
scheme.
Kenny Roberts is a pro. He picked
Bell because he knows a helmet is for
safety and a paint job is for identifi-
cation.
