These three 1976 Yamaha
Enduros are the result of over a decade
of on-road/off-road technology. And,
your Yamaha dealer is now offering
special spring savings on the DT 175,
250 and 400. These low prices now
make their engineering excellence
even more appealing.
The dual-purpose features of
these machines give the Enduros the
unique capability of coping with both
the street and the dirt. Each has a
powerful Yamaha two-stroke engine
fueled by Torque Induction to supply
great low-end pulling power. An Auto-
lube system to consistently adjust the
flow of oil into the fuel mixture, for
increased engine life. A five-speed
constant-mesh transmission to provide
adequate power at all speeds. And T]
Enduro instrumentation includes a
large, sealed-beam headlight, speed-
ometer, tachometer, and resettable
trip meter.
Control and traction are the
result of the motocross features in each
of these motorcycles. Forward-
mounted five-way adjustable thermal
phase rear shocks allow better han-
dling and more rear wheel travel.
Long travel front forks, larger front
wheel and greater ground clearance
contribute to precise cornering and
easy
handling
in rough terrain.
And, a center-mount exhaust system,
tucked away through the narrow
tubular steel frame, is protected from
off-road obstacles.
However, the most important
feature to consider is the new reduced
price. If you agree, visit your Yamaha
dealer for a test-ride. Then, your only
problem will be to decide which
Yamaha Enduro you should ride home.
