Description

A sterling silver besamim/spice box/container.
Round-form with detachable lid with finial.
Lid pierced with six round holes and decorated with
inserted six cabochon Persian turquoise stones,
and applied filigree ornaments.
Base stands on three spherical-form feet,

Marked underside:
Israel tax/duty "mark";
"Israel" for country or origin;
"925" for sterling silver.
No maker/manufacturer marks.
Made in Israel sometime in 1960's-1970's.
